The new Lighthouse of Flügge was built in 1914/15 right next to the old lighthouse of 1872. With its height of 37 metres it is the tallest one on the island. Situated in the Krummsteert nature reserve, it offers the most beautiful view. It is the only lighthouse on Fehmarn that can be visited. Climb up the 162 steps and enjoy a unique bird’s-eye view of Fehmarn.
Open from April until October (closed on Mondays). Parking at the lighthouse is not allowed. Consider a 1.5 km walk from the parking lot at Hof Flügge.
