There are regular Scandlines ferry crossings from Puttgarden to Rødby in Denmark and back. Use the booking link below, which takes you directly and safely to the booking portal of Scandlines. The link allows payment by credit card only. Of course, you can also buy your ferry tickets at our tourist information offices, where cash or EC-card payment is accepted.

Fehmarn is ideal for a holiday with man's best friend - because here you do not only find numerous accommodations that welcome your dog, too. On the beaches of Meeschendorf, Grüner Brink and Bojendorf you will also find designated dog beaches. Important notice: Please use dog poop bags and dispose of them in the rubbish bins provided. Please show respect for other beach guests.
Four dog beaches are at your disposal: two in Meeschendorf (sandy beaches, 100m west and 600m east of the beach car park), one in Bojendorf (natural beach, north of the camping site) and one at the Grüner Brink (sandy beach, about 300m east of the car park). On these beaches your four-legged friend is, however, allowed only in designated dog areas – all year round. On the south beach in Burgtiefe dogs are not allowed at all. For all other beaches in Fehmarn applies:
§ 32 (2) of the Landesnaturschutzgesetz (State Nature Conservation Act): "... dogs are not allowed on beach sections where bathing activities take place within the period from 1 April to 31 October,...".
Act sustainably, support the local economy and start your holiday with a good feeling of security and confidence. The Fehmarn Tourist Board is your local holiday expert and guarantees clearly-defined quality standards with the quality label "Book Locally and Safely" ("Lokal und sicher buchen").
